Applicants to the TFBI program come from diverse backgrounds and will have a range of experiences and skills.

Entrepreneur Prerequisites:
All applicants must show tenacity and the aptitude for developing organization, communication and people skills.

Applicants to TFBI must submit a completed Application Form and preliminary Business Plan.

A TFBI Selection Committee meets on a regular basis to review applications to the Business Incubation Program.

Financial Commitment:
A lot of time and energy will be needed to start a business and build it into a successful enterprise. Because of the length time and cost associated in starting a sustainable business in the manufacturing sector, the TFBI recommends each applicant have a support system in place and set aside at least $25,000 in unencumbered capital prior to starting their venture. Applicants will be asked to provide a financial statement to the Selection Committee prior to intake into the program.
